Scientific and technical conference UTW

Ural Turbine Works held the IV International Scientific and Technical Conference "Sustainable Development of Energy Based on Achievements and Modern Developments in Russian Power Engineering".

The event, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the enterprise, brought together a large number of representatives of the professional community. More than 180 people took part in its work - managers and specialists of generating, machine-building and engineering companies from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, scientists from leading domestic industry institutes and universities.

The program of the event turned out to be quite intense and took two working days on May 17-18. More than 30 representatives of the professional community presented reports on pressing problems, topical issues and new developments in the industry.

The technical director of JSC "SUZMK-Engineering" P.E. Kapusta was invited to the conference, who made a report on the topic of "High-pressure heaters for turbo plants", spoke about the experience of designing and manufacturing devices for UTZ turbines.

In recent years, more than 30 units have been supplied to power plants in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, with most of the heaters being developed individually to suit the parameters of new generation turbo units.
