RusHydro Supplier Day
On December 6, 2022, the fifth Supplier Day conference was held in Moscow, organized by the largest Russian energy holding RusHydro. P.E. Kapusta, Technical Director of AO SUZMK-Engineering, took part in the conference.
PJSC RusHydro owns a number of Far Eastern power plants, for which our company carries out calculations of heat exchangers. In addition, more than 60 tons of equipment are planned to be delivered in 2023.
At the conference, it was announced that savings based on the results of RusHydro's purchases for 9 months of 2022 amounted to 8.42 billion rubles with an annual purchase volume of almost 500 billion. The positive effect was achieved through competitive procedures, cost control and optimization of the cost of current contracts. At the same time, the main principles are openness of information and transparency of procedures, an equal approach to all market participants, and the prevention of any unjustified restriction of competition.
During the event, issues of increasing the number of potential procurement participants, key indicators of procurement activities, requirements for procedure participants, typical errors in preparing applications, features of working with suppliers in the Far East, and issues of supporting domestic manufacturers were discussed. RusHydro's immediate plans include introducing a supplier accreditation system, continuing procurement from manufacturers and reducing the time frame for procedures, and digitalizing processes.
